Harry Potter

It’s been nine years since Deathly Hallows was published. Lilian and I walked past Barnes & Noble and saw the midnight magic party for Cursed Child. Adults and kids dressed in robes, house-themed tables, book cover prints. There was even a sorting hat in front of the Nook display. Frankly, it’s difficult to see Harry’s world without seeing our own world intertwined. An effect of growing up? Perhaps. Maybe magic exists in more ways than one flick of a wand.
