Malaphors

The unintentional blending of idioms and phrases makes for delightful malaphors. For example, the following:

“Three’s a charm.”

“The weather can change on a dime.”

“Flipping eggs!”

“We’ll burn that bridge when we get to it.”

And my personal favorites:

“Kill a couple of birds with two stones.”

“… until the cows freeze over.”
