I will be on a short hiatus starting tomorrow until next Wednesday (right before Thanksgiving). Work is accumulating and rolling into motion. My brainspace has been dusty of late. I need to recharge. In the meantime, I’ve set up another queue series. It will look like this:
QS: 1939/1995 (years when the lit/music was published, released, and/or first performed)
Lit: The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck
Music: The Ghost of Tom Joad—Bruce Springsteen
Literature and music have always been closely intertwined, more than most people realize. This little series aims to introduce a few examples of such relationships and how cross-pollination in the arts is actually quite healthy and nice.
Buona giornata, amici 🙂
